As you see my blog title, you know I love dancing. When I dance, I am myself; When I dance, I am the world; When I dance, I forget everything. I love many kind of dance.. comtemporary dance which I learn in school, tap dance, belly dance, jazz, ballet..The dance which I love most is ballroom Latin, especially international standard ballroom (which known in chinese as 国际标准舞) . I wish to learn since I am secondary school. I remembered that I had list out all my dreams in a piece of paper in form 4, and one of them was :" learning intenational standard ballroom latin"I thought it is only a far dream as many of my friends actually teased me because of that. I guess it seems quite impossible when watching that dance in any show as they are so sexy and unfamiliar in Malaysia. Yaya, I might not be that sexy as I don't have a sexy body. =_="". Other reasons that it is quite hard to carry out my dream are.. I need a patner ( although is not necessary to have a patner to learn coz you will get to dance with a temporary patner in studio, it is still better to have a fix patner) ; I don't have transport and money to learn.
I met my current patner,Harry in University. He is also very interest in latin ballroom dancing,so we decide to go to learn latin ballroom together. We learn latin ballroom in A&C Dynamic Dance studio which is in Bangsar, (opposite menara telekom) . I guess you guys must be curious :" why there? so far from cyber" Well, the principal of A&C is Alex and Carmen which the A&C represent their 1st alphabert of their names. Alex and Carmen is the 1st couple in Malaysia are qualified to enter the blackpool world dance competition organize in England for ballroom dancing. For your information, the blackpool festival is the biggest competition and the highest honour of international standard ballroom latin dance in world , it is very hard to enter the competition unless you are really good. So, we went there every week for class. We had learn almost 5 months and we did enjoy very much. We learned cha cha, waltz, disco rock, rumba , vienesse waltz and rock and roll. We make a lot of friends , and they are very nice friends. Here i got my 1st latin dance shoes which is not cheap ---> RM 200 >_< ..and i need to get another shoe which is ballroom dance shoes . ( not now, need to save money). Harry also got his 1st shoes but is ballroom dance shoes instead of latin. It is different within ballroom shoes and latin shoes for both male and female. hmm, when I will get my 1st ballroom dance shoes? *wondering
